Home and Away: Police Raid Beau’s Gym After Remi Reports Him

Remi follows through on his warning and reports Beau to the police, triggering an immediate investigation into allegations that illegal steroids are being supplied at Summer Bay Fit. After Sonny refuses to tell Dana the truth about his own involvement, Remi decides he can no longer remain silent and takes what he knows directly to Cash.

However, bringing Beau down proves far from straightforward. Sonny secretly removes the drugs before officers arrive, leaving David and his team searching a gym where the evidence they need has already disappeared.

Remi initially gives Sonny one final opportunity to deal with the situation himself. He tells him to confess his steroid dealing to Dana, but Sonny refuses, leaving Remi unwilling to stand by while the situation continues.

At the police station, Remi tells Cash that illegal steroids are being sold at the gym. Cash explains that he needs an official statement before he can follow up on the allegation and presses Remi for more information about who is supplying them.

Remi then goes on the record and identifies Beau as the supplier. The allegation is serious enough for David to call for an immediate search warrant for Summer Bay Fit, putting Beau firmly at the centre of a police investigation.

Cash is already aware that Sonny spends a considerable amount of time at the gym and begins to suspect that Remi may be holding something back to protect him. Remi refuses to implicate Sonny, despite Cash pushing him for more information.

Cash considers warning Tane about the impending raid, but David shuts the idea down because a tip-off could compromise the search. The police instead move ahead without warning, with David and a team of officers heading to Summer Bay Fit to execute the warrant.

What they do not know is that Sonny has already acted. Realising the danger, Sonny gets to the steroids before the police can find them. By the time officers search the gym, there is nothing there to support Remi’s accusation, despite his decision to formally put his name to the allegation.

While the search is taking place, Cash brings Beau into the station for questioning. Beau denies any involvement in drug dealing, and without evidence recovered from Summer Bay Fit, Cash is ultimately forced to let him go.

Tane, meanwhile, fully cooperates with the police search and is shocked by the accusations surrounding his gym. Harper arrives at the station to support Beau, despite still being shaken by his violence towards her, leaving her increasingly caught between what Beau is telling her and the concerns surrounding his behaviour.

The failed search does not convince Remi that he was wrong. Instead, he realises Sonny must have reached the drugs first and confronts him over what he has done.

Remi warns Sonny that removing the evidence has only delayed the inevitable, telling him that it is only a matter of time before the police establish who is involved. Sonny, however, feels betrayed by Remi and refuses to listen.

His attempt to protect the secret may also be about to create another serious problem. Sonny later returns to the gym and begins hiding more steroids in his locker, only for Tane to confront him about his association with Beau.

The police may have walked away from their first search empty-handed, but the investigation has now brought several people dangerously close to the truth. Remi has formally accused Beau, Cash already suspects Sonny may know more than he is admitting, and Tane has now confronted Sonny himself.

For Beau and Sonny, escaping the first police raid may therefore provide only temporary relief. Remi has started an official investigation, and Sonny’s efforts to make the evidence disappear are becoming increasingly difficult to conceal.
