Hollyoaks: What's coming up next week? 3 to 5 August
James and Ste face more heartbreak, Cindy finally tells the truth, Beth clashes with Caleb and Vicky's secret edges closer to being exposed in Hollyoaks
Old wounds are reopened, secrets refuse to stay hidden and emotions run high as several Hollyoaks residents face life changing moments. From James and Ste's grief to Cindy's long awaited confession, here's everything coming up in the village over the next week.
Dodger pays Cleo a visit at work after spending time reflecting on everything that has happened. He tells her he has had plenty of time to think, while the pair continue looking ahead together. Elsewhere, Theresa has exciting news of her own after receiving a promotion. She later shares her plans for a new home with Dodger, giving Cleo plenty to think about as the future begins taking shape.
Family tensions continue elsewhere as Beth refuses to let Caleb move to London with Frankie, leading to another heated clash between them. Beth's disagreements do not end there either, as she later argues with Jonah and Darren over the children before Cindy steps in and finally reveals the secrets she has been keeping hidden.
Cindy's confession has the potential to change several relationships, with those closest to her left wondering what it means for the future. After weeks of unanswered questions, the truth finally begins to emerge, although the consequences of her revelation remain to be seen.
James and Ste continue trying to come to terms with Rex's death. James takes Ste to Rex's gravestone in an emotional visit that forces them both to confront their grief. Leela, however, remains convinced there is more to the story and continues suspecting that Ste and James were somehow involved in Rex's death. Leah supports the reunited former couple as they attempt to move forward together despite everything they have endured.
The emotional strain eventually becomes too much for Ste, who breaks down as the weight of losing Rex finally catches up with him. His grief reaches the surface in heartbreaking scenes as he struggles to process everything that has happened.
Elsewhere, Leah and Imran enjoy a relaxing pampering session at home before sitting down for an honest conversation about their relationship and what lies ahead. Their quieter moments provide a contrast to the tension elsewhere in the village.
Vicky also continues battling to hide her eating disorder from those around her. However, Leah unknowingly puts her secret at risk when she makes a comment to Misbah that could expose what has really been happening. With Vicky finding it increasingly difficult to keep everything hidden, questions begin mounting over how much longer she can continue suffering in silence.
From James and Ste's emotional journey and Cindy's long awaited confession to Beth's family clashes, Vicky's secret, Leah and Imran's heartfelt conversations, and fresh developments for Dodger, Cleo, Theresa, Caleb, Frankie, Jonah, Darren, Leela and Misbah, Hollyoaks is set for another powerful week.
