Hollyoaks Leah wedding drama as Imran fails to appear

Leah and Imran’s wedding day is set to take a dramatic turn in Hollyoaks when the groom fails to appear for the ceremony. What should be one of the happiest moments of Leah’s life instead leaves her waiting at the altar as doubts grow over whether Imran will arrive at all.

The couple head towards their big day while both keeping important secrets from each other. Leah has been embroiled in an affair with Prince, although she remains convinced she has brought the situation under control and can go ahead with marrying Imran.

Imran has also been hiding something of his own, with Leah discovering that he deleted a mysterious video confession. When she confronts him, Imran admits that before they got together he had previously wanted to marry another woman, and his explanation appears to satisfy Leah enough for their wedding plans to continue.

There is another complication involving Vicky, whose eating disorder continues to worsen as the ceremony approaches. Leah becomes concerned about her friend and asks Prince to look after her, but Vicky later stops Imran and tells him that he cannot get married.

Exactly what Vicky knows and why she makes the intervention remains to be seen, but the moment comes just before Imran is due to marry Leah. With Leah’s own secret relationship with Prince hanging over the wedding, there is already plenty that could derail the couple before they exchange their vows.

When the ceremony begins, Ste is proud to walk his grown up daughter down the aisle. However, the celebrations quickly turn to uncertainty when Imran is nowhere to be seen, leaving Leah wondering whether her husband to be is going to arrive.

Ste is there to comfort his daughter as she waits, but the wedding remains in serious doubt. Whether Imran has simply been delayed or has made a decision that could end his relationship with Leah is set to become the biggest question surrounding their big day.
