High Tides New Online Episode reveals Clara and Valerie’s mysterious connection
High Tides Episode 4 brings Clara and Valerie closer as Valerie admits she feels as though she has known the photographer before.
Clara and Valerie’s attraction becomes harder to ignore in High Tides (Episode 4/5 on YouTube) as an ordinary conversation leads to a surprisingly intimate confession.
The episode returns to their introduction, but Valerie remains convinced that their meeting on the boat was not the first time their paths had crossed. She tells Clara that she is normally good at remembering faces and has been unable to shake the feeling that she recognises her from somewhere.
Clara offers a simple explanation. She had been at Praia Gravel the previous afternoon and photographed Valerie while she was surfing, shortly before the woman Clara believes is Valerie’s girlfriend arrived.
Valerie remembers noticing the large camera lens aimed in her direction, while Clara admits that the surfer had been difficult to overlook. However, the beach encounter does not explain the familiarity Valerie feels.
She tells Clara that the sensation seems older, as though part of her already understands what being close to Clara would feel like. The admission leaves a quiet tension between them and suggests their connection may go beyond two chance encounters beside the water.
The mood becomes lighter when Clara struggles to pull on a wetsuit. Valerie teases the personal trainer for being defeated by a piece of rubber before stepping in to help.
