Emmerdale Dawn Points Loaded Gun at Joe as Escape Plan Fails
Emmerdale’s Dawn is left holding a loaded gun with Joe in her sights after her secret escape plan with Billy takes an alarming turn.
Dawn’s desperate attempt to escape Joe takes a dangerous turn in upcoming Emmerdale scenes when she finds herself holding a loaded shotgun with her fiancé directly in her sights. Still convinced Joe was responsible for the brutal attack on Billy, Dawn is determined to get herself and her family away from Home Farm before it is too late.
Dawn and Billy have secretly been planning their departure, gathering their belongings and arranging fake passports before telling the children they are heading away on holiday. With Joe expected to be occupied by his stag celebrations, the pair believe they finally have the opportunity they need to disappear without him realising what they are doing.
Their plan quickly begins to fall apart when Graham unexpectedly arrives at Home Farm. Instead of allowing them to leave, he takes Dawn and Billy to what turns out to be a surprise joint stag and hen party arranged by Joe, immediately leaving the pair worried that their escape plan may have been discovered.
Things become far more serious when the celebrations involve clay-pigeon shooting. Dawn reluctantly takes her turn, but with a loaded shotgun in her hands and Joe nearby, the anger she has been carrying towards him suddenly threatens to boil over.
Dawn remains convinced Joe almost killed Billy and believes he deserves to pay for what happened. As her aim begins to drift away from the targets and towards Joe, she is faced with a decision that could have devastating consequences for everyone involved.
What Dawn does not yet know is that her belief about Billy’s attacker is about to be thrown into doubt. With Billy desperate to uncover the truth about what happened to him, information is emerging that could completely change how he views Joe, but will it come soon enough to stop Dawn making a terrible mistake?
The wedding is already hanging in the balance, Dawn and Billy’s escape has been derailed and a loaded weapon has now entered the equation. Whatever Dawn decides to do next, her attempt to break free from Joe has suddenly become far more dangerous than either she or Billy expected.
