Emmerdale Billy Learns Shocking Truth as Dawn Targets Joe
Emmerdale’s Billy finally learns who attacked him as Dawn remains convinced Joe is guilty, leaving her dangerously unaware that everything has changed.
Dawn’s belief that Joe brutally attacked Billy is set to be blown apart in upcoming Emmerdale scenes, but the truth may come dangerously late. While Dawn remains convinced her fiancé was behind the violence and deserves to pay, Billy finally discovers who was really responsible.
The attack has driven Dawn towards increasingly desperate action, with her and Billy secretly preparing to flee Home Farm with the children. Dawn believes getting away from Joe is the only way to protect her family, while her anger towards him continues to build.
However, Billy’s search for answers leads him somewhere completely unexpected. Kev drunkenly admits that he was the person who attacked Billy, leaving Billy stunned as he realises Joe was not responsible for what happened to him.
The confession changes the entire situation for Billy. He and Dawn have based their plans to disappear on the belief that Joe was dangerous enough to almost kill him, yet Billy now knows the accusation at the centre of their escape was wrong.
The problem is that Dawn is still acting without that crucial information. After their getaway is unexpectedly derailed by Joe’s surprise joint stag and hen celebration, Dawn finds herself at a clay pigeon shoot with the man she still believes attacked Billy.
Her anger becomes particularly dangerous when she is handed a loaded shotgun. With Joe nearby, Dawn’s attention begins to move away from the targets as everything she believes he has done threatens to push her towards a devastating decision.
Billy now has information that could stop the situation spiralling further, but he needs to get that truth to Dawn. Kev’s confession does not erase the problems between Dawn and Joe, yet it removes one of the biggest reasons behind Dawn’s determination to run and her fury towards the man she is supposed to marry.
The revelation could also completely reshape Dawn’s future. With her wedding to Joe approaching, feelings for Billy still complicating matters and their planned escape already in trouble, discovering that Joe did not attack Billy could force Dawn to question what she really wants before it is too late.
