Coronation Street leaves viewers guessing over Kit mystery after telling final clue

Coronation Street ended today’s episode with a new mystery surrounding Kit Green after viewers were left wondering who had spent the night with him.

The episode had already placed a few women around Kit before the final scenes hinted that someone had been at his flat.

Jodie had openly flirted with Kit and made it clear she was interested in having some fun with him. The pair later spent time together drinking wine, making her the most obvious suspect.

However, Corrie may be deliberately making Jodie look too obvious. Bethany has also been spending more time with Kit while Sarah remains in prison.

The pair have been alone together on several occasions, while Bethany has already shown interest in what is going on between Kit and Jodie.

Shona is another possible name to consider. Her previous liaison with Kit was brought back into the conversation during the episode, reminding viewers of their history at exactly the same time as the mystery was being set up.

The biggest clue came right at the end.

Kit was seen alone at his flat before switching off his record player. Nearby was an empty wine glass that appeared to have been used by someone else, strongly suggesting he had not spent the night alone.

Whoever had been with him was nowhere to be seen. Upcoming scenes are set to continue the mystery, with someone slipping away while Kit sleeps and Kit left feeling guilty afterwards.

So who was it?

Jodie currently looks like the obvious answer, but Bethany would create far bigger consequences, particularly with Sarah still in prison. Shona would be another shock twist given their past.

There is also every chance Corrie is hiding someone completely unexpected.
