Will Brody Finally Expose Idris Over the Underworld Sabotage in Coronation Street?
Brody threatens to reveal Idris's role in the Underworld sabotage next week. Could his confession save Carla's factory?
Brody Michaelis could destroy Idris Nazir's plans to acquire Underworld when he threatens to tell Carla the truth about the factory sabotage in Coronation Street in upcoming scenes.
The teenager has already played a direct role in damaging the business, having stolen factory keys from Sally's home before entering Underworld and activating the sprinkler system.

His actions left Carla facing serious financial difficulties, with the factory damaged and employees uncertain whether they would have jobs to return to.
However, the situation becomes increasingly uncomfortable for Brody when he sees the distress caused to Sally, who has given him a home and trusted him.

Idris has attempted to present himself as someone capable of rescuing Underworld, despite his involvement in creating the circumstances that have placed Carla under pressure.
Brody's confrontation with Idris therefore creates a significant problem for the businessman. If Brody reveals what happened, Carla could discover that the damage was not simply an unfortunate accident.

Leanne has also witnessed Brody entering the factory, providing another possible connection to the events behind its closure.
Viewers have already questioned Idris's business activities, with one asking where he was obtaining his money and another expressing frustration about his dealings in Weatherfield.

The more important issue is what happens if Brody follows through with his threat. He risks exposing his own involvement, potentially destroying Sally's trust just as she is facing the prospect of unemployment.
Idris could also lose the opportunity to acquire Underworld if Carla discovers that the problems forcing her towards a sale were deliberately created.
With Brody increasingly uncomfortable about what he has done, Idris may find that controlling the teenager proves considerably harder than manipulating Carla's business interests.
Coronation Street continues on ITV1 and ITVX.
