What happens in Hollyoaks 17–19 August? Leah and Imran face wedding chaos, Jenson returns in secret and Caleb reaches out to Jonah.
A troubled wedding, a secret return and growing family tensions make it a dramatic three episodes in Hollyoaks.
Leah and Imran approach their wedding with unresolved problems hanging over them. Donny arranges a coasteering stag do for Imran, while Leah is annoyed that Prince is part of the celebrations.
Away from the wedding, Jenson secretly returns and begins spying on Warren and Mercedes before breaking into Warren’s flat. Gemma is later confused about why Jenson is back so quickly, setting up the eventual reveal of his real intentions.
Caleb also tries to rebuild his relationship with Jonah after recognising how badly he is struggling. However, Caleb makes clear to Frankie that he has not abandoned his plans to travel the world.
When wedding day arrives, Leah confronts Imran about deleting his confession. Imran admits he had wanted to marry another woman before they became a couple, adding another complication just before they are supposed to say their vows.
Myra becomes concerned about Mercedes, while Cindy and Abigail enjoy the wedding champagne. James allows Ste to take his place and walk Leah down the aisle, but the celebrations threaten to collapse when Imran suddenly fails to appear.
Imran eventually arrives and says he had been talking to Yazz. Leah and Imran finally begin exchanging their vows, but Imran reveals that he still has another confession to make.
As the week reaches its conclusion, secrets are exposed and confrontations follow, while Jenson’s true motivation for returning to Hollyoaks finally becomes clearer.
