Rotterdam Pride 2026 Brings 10 Days of LGBT Events to the Netherlands
Rotterdam Pride returns from 17 to 27 September 2026 with a Pride March, free festival, parties and LGBT events across the Dutch city.
Rotterdam is preparing for ten days of Pride celebrations this September, giving LGBT travellers another reason to consider a late-summer city break in the Netherlands.
Rotterdam Pride 2026 runs from 17 to 27 September, with events spread across the city before the main Pride March and free Pride Festival on Saturday 26 September. This year’s programme follows the artistic vision Queertopia, bringing together music, culture, nightlife, community events and Pride activities.
The big Pride weekend
The Pride March begins at 10:30am on Saturday 26 September at Stationsplein, directly outside Rotterdam Centraal. The route travels through the city before finishing at Willemsplein, where the Pride Festival begins at 1pm.
The festival is completely free and continues until 11pm, with live performances, drag, DJs and community activities. Berget Lewis, JEA, Mandy McCandy, WINE., Gavin Reijnders and Mika Akela are among the announced performers, with Faye Ferry and Lotte van Eijk presenting.
Pride is not limited to one weekend. Events begin on 17 September with the launch of Qtopia Magazine, while parties, cultural events and community activities take place around Rotterdam throughout the ten-day programme.
Where to stay
For first-time visitors, Rotterdam Centrum is the easiest base, putting Rotterdam Centraal, shopping, restaurants and much of the city’s nightlife within easy reach. Staying around the central station also makes arrival particularly simple for visitors travelling by train.
The Witte de Withstraat area is another option for travellers who want restaurants, bars and nightlife close to their accommodation, while the waterfront around Willemsplein provides easy access to the main Pride Festival.
Getting there from the UK
Rotterdam is particularly easy to combine with a short European break. Eurostar services connect London with Rotterdam, while flights into Amsterdam Schiphol can be followed by a direct train to Rotterdam Centraal.
Once in the city, Rotterdam’s metro, tram and bus network makes it relatively straightforward to move between Pride events without needing a car.
The official programme, including individual event times and ticket information, is available through Rotterdam Pride. Many events are free, although some individual parties and activities require tickets.
With ten days of events and a free city-centre festival, Rotterdam Pride offers plenty to build into a Netherlands break this September.
