Home and Away's Lacey makes a heartbreaking admission about Theo as she considers moving on

Lacey Miller begins to consider what moving forward might look like as the anniversary of Theo's death brings painful memories in Home and Away.

With David Langham building a relationship with Amelia, Lacey is also confronting the possibility that life around her may change even while she is still grieving.

Jo Langham returns home a week early from specialist training and quickly notices that Lacey is uncomfortable with David and Amelia's relationship. Jo suggests a family lunch to welcome Amelia, but Lacey struggles with the idea and worries about the reminders of their late mother around the house. Jo encourages her to leave their mother's photographs on display, explaining that their mother will always be part of their lives.

The lunch gets off to an awkward start, but Amelia helps rescue the meal after Lacey burns the dessert by improvising an affogato. David later thanks Lacey for giving Amelia a chance, and Lacey eventually meets him at Salt to apologise for getting in the way of their relationship.

Lacey asks David how he knew he was ready to move forward after loss. He tells her that he never doubted his feelings for Amelia, while Lacey admits she hopes she can one day love someone as deeply as she loved Theo.
