Home and Away spoilers for 19–23 October: Five questions for Summer Bay

Will Eden forgive her family, can Abigail repair the damage, and is Lacey ready to move forward? Five questions from Home and Away.

1. Can Eden forgive her family?

Eden's anniversary celebration with Cash Newman turns sour when Richie reveals that he has reunited with Abigail. Eden is furious that her sister kept the relationship secret, then discovers that Levi has an upcoming operation which he and Mackenzie concealed to protect her. Levi considers postponing it, while Eden accuses Mackenzie of trying to replace her after she advises Abigail about her relationship.

2. Will Abigail and Richie repair the damage?

Abigail fears upsetting Eden by revealing her reunion with Richie. Remi questions her decision, and Richie eventually tells Cash and Eden himself. Cash asks him to leave, leaving Abigail feeling guilty. Richie had also accepted a temporary place to stay with Leah and Justin, but Justin objects to Leah making that decision without consulting him. Richie declines John's offer to join surf lifesaving because he needs paid work.

3. Has Marilyn lost Zane?

Mali visits Zane in prison and learns that he is doing reasonably well and working in the library. Zane gives Mali a letter for Marilyn, but Alf initially keeps it from her because she has been feeling positive. Marilyn eventually receives it and learns that Zane believes prison is where he belongs, will not write again and hopes she can move on.

4. Can Tane find a way to see Archie?

An emergency road closure prevents Tane from visiting Archie. John shares a Navy story that inspires him to search for another way. John also checks with Cash about the anniversary, while Cash initially worries about putting pressure on Eden. Remi discusses an online support-group diet with Eden and tells her about Melanie, who has the same condition and lived years longer than doctors expected.

5. Is Lacey ready to move forward?

Jo returns early from specialist training and arranges a family lunch to welcome Amelia, despite Lacey's discomfort with David's relationship. Amelia rescues the meal after Lacey burns the dessert, and David later thanks Lacey for giving her a chance.

Lacey asks David how he knew he was ready to move forward after loss. David says he never doubted his feelings for Amelia, while Lacey hopes she can one day love someone as deeply as she loved Theo. Sonny checks in with Lacey, and Leah and Justin visit Theo's grave as Alf and Marilyn offer Leah support.
