Home and Away: Sonny’s clash with Beau sparks desperate new low
Sonny’s steroid addiction reaches a dangerous turning point after a heated confrontation with Beau in upcoming Home and Away scenes.
Sonny’s addiction continues to spiral in upcoming Home and Away scenes as a heated confrontation with Beau leaves him more desperate than ever.
Already struggling to control his growing dependence on steroids, Sonny finds himself backed into a corner when the man supplying the drugs refuses to give him what he wants.
It is a moment that proves to be a major turning point. Having become increasingly reliant on Beau, Sonny believes he can persuade him to hand over more steroids despite not having any money. Confident he will eventually be able to repay him, Sonny asks if Beau will let him take the drugs now and settle the debt later.
Beau refuses without hesitation. Despite Sonny’s repeated attempts to change his mind, Beau stands firm and makes it clear there will be no more steroids unless he pays up first.
The rejection immediately changes the atmosphere between the pair.
Instead of walking away, Sonny’s frustration boils over as he realises his addiction has left him with very few options. His desperation is obvious, but Beau refuses to be manipulated into changing his mind.
The confrontation exposes just how much control the addiction now has over Sonny’s life.
Rather than thinking rationally, his entire focus has become finding his next supply. The refusal leaves him panicked, angry and increasingly unpredictable as he searches for another way to feed his habit.
Sadly, it does not take long before Sonny makes another devastating decision.
Later, he meets Remi at Salt in an apparent attempt to repair their friendship after recent tensions. Sonny apologises for his behaviour, giving the impression that he genuinely wants to put things right between them.
However, when Remi briefly leaves the table, Sonny notices his wallet has been left behind.
Unable to resist the temptation, Sonny secretly steals Remi’s credit card, hoping it will solve the financial problems that are preventing him from getting more steroids.
It is a shocking betrayal and one that demonstrates just how far his addiction has progressed.
Only a short time earlier, Sonny had been pleading with Beau for help. When that failed, he immediately turned to stealing from one of the people who has supported him the most.
The storyline highlights the devastating reality of addiction, showing how quickly it can cloud judgement and drive people towards choices they may once have believed they would never make.
While Beau’s refusal may have prevented Sonny from getting more drugs in that moment, it also forces him down an even darker path.
The fallout is unlikely to end there. Remi will inevitably discover his credit card is missing, raising difficult questions about who could have taken it. If Sonny’s actions are exposed, he risks destroying what remains of one of his closest friendships while also revealing the full extent of his addiction.
With Sonny now making increasingly reckless decisions, viewers can expect the storyline to gather even more momentum. His confrontation with Beau may have ended without violence, but it has pushed Sonny to a place where almost nothing appears to be off limits.
