Home and Away: Jo Langham cuts off Tane Parata after mixed signals row

Home and Away UK viewers will see Jo Langham confront Tane Parata after a well meant message about David leaves her questioning his intentions. Tane reaches out after learning about the shooting, but Jo believes the contact sends another confusing signal.

Tane only discovers what happened when Cash mentions David’s absence from work.

Concerned, he sends Jo a message asking whether she and her father are all right.

Lacey advises Jo to reply briefly and avoid reopening the situation between them. Jo follows the advice, but the response she sends feels harsher than she intended.

Unable to leave matters unresolved, she visits Tane in person.

Jo demands clarity from Tane

Tane is surprised to see her. He had not intended the message as an invitation to revisit their relationship.

Jo sees it differently. She accuses him of giving mixed signals and making it difficult for her to understand where she stands. His concern may be genuine, but contact from him carries more emotional weight than he appears to realise.

Jo tells Tane not to message her again, even if he is only offering condolences.

The confrontation shows how unresolved their relationship remains. Tane may believe he was simply checking on David, but Jo cannot separate the message from their history.

Her decision to cut off contact appears firm, although the strength of her reaction suggests the feelings underneath have not disappeared.
