Home and Away UK viewers will see David Langham decide to confront Amelia after she unexpectedly ends their professional relationship. Justin Morgan fears that David’s demand for answers could lead to a romantic confession that neither of them is prepared to handle.

David remains confused by Amelia’s decision to stop acting as his doctor. She told him that she had become too involved and would arrange a referral, but gave him little explanation for what had changed.

Worried that he has offended her, David turns to Justin for advice. He wants to understand whether something he said or did after counselling caused Amelia to pull away.

Justin knows more than he can comfortably reveal. He suspects Amelia has developed feelings for David and believes her decision may be an attempt to restore professional boundaries.

Justin struggles to reassure David

David asks whether Amelia could be upset with him, but Justin awkwardly insists that this is unlikely. His reassurance lacks confidence because he is trying to protect both people without exposing the private conversations he has had with Leah.

Justin does not know exactly how Amelia feels. However, her involvement in David’s counselling and her reaction to questions about their relationship have convinced him that her concern may be personal.

David remains unconvinced by Justin’s explanation. Amelia had been supportive throughout his recovery, which makes her sudden withdrawal difficult for him to understand.

The situation leaves David feeling that another important decision has been made around him without his involvement. After hiding counselling from his daughters, he now finds himself on the other side of a secret.

David books another session with Jared

Despite walking out of his first appointment, David decides to book another counselling session with Jared. The choice suggests that he is beginning to accept that the difficult conversation may still be necessary.

Returning to Jared will require David to face the subjects that caused him to leave. His anger over Richie and his attachment to his wedding ring remain unresolved, but abandoning counselling entirely would leave him carrying those feelings alone.

The decision is an important step because nobody forces David to make it. He chooses to return even after the first session left him angry and exposed.

His willingness to try again may also be influenced by Jo and Lacey. After admitting the truth about counselling, David has less reason to pretend that he can deal with the shooting without support.

Jo remains embarrassed over Tane

Jo arrives home still mortified by her confrontation with Tane. She believed his message about David carried mixed signals, only to discover that he had simply been checking on the family after learning about the shooting.

David notices her embarrassment and suggests they have a meal at Salt. He hopes the evening will distract her and give them a chance to spend time together after the recent strain at home.

The plan becomes uncomfortable when they run into Tane. Jo immediately leaves, showing that she is not ready to face him after accusing him of sending confusing messages.

David stays behind and challenges Tane about what happened. His protective instincts take over because he believes Jo has been hurt.

Tane explains the misunderstanding

Tane tells David that the encounter was a misunderstanding. He had no intention of reopening anything with Jo and only contacted her because he was concerned about the shooting.

David listens and accepts the explanation. The conversation gives him a direct example of how easily people can misread another person’s intentions when they avoid asking clear questions.

That lesson immediately affects how he views Amelia. David does not want to repeat Jo’s mistake by making assumptions about why his doctor ended their professional relationship.

He tells Justin that he intends to confront Amelia directly. Rather than continuing to speculate, he wants her to explain the decision herself.

Justin fears what Amelia might reveal

Justin becomes concerned when he realises David is serious. He knows that asking Amelia directly may produce an answer David has not considered.

If Amelia admits that her feelings have changed, David could find himself facing a romantic situation while still grieving his wife and dealing with the emotional effects of the shooting.

Justin tries to persuade him to leave the matter alone. He presents silence as the safer choice, but David no longer wants to accept vague explanations.

The disagreement places Justin in a difficult position. He cannot fully explain why he is worried without admitting that he and Leah have been discussing Amelia’s feelings behind David’s back.

Justin may believe he is protecting his friend, but his secrecy risks making David even more determined to seek answers.

Is David ready to hear the truth?

David appears focused on whether he has done something wrong. He has not shown any sign that he expects Amelia’s decision to be connected to romantic feelings.

A confession could therefore leave him completely unprepared. He still speaks about his late wife with deep emotion, and Jared has already questioned whether his wedding ring is keeping him tied to the past.

That does not mean David could never consider another relationship. However, the timing raises questions about whether he has enough emotional space to understand Amelia’s feelings without becoming overwhelmed.

Amelia may also refuse to discuss the matter. She has already attempted to create distance, and admitting personal feelings would make the professional boundary issue even clearer.

Perhaps David’s direct approach forces Amelia to explain more than she intended. His confusion is genuine, and a vague referral may not be enough to stop him seeking clarity.

For now, David is determined to avoid another misunderstanding, while Justin fears that complete honesty could create an even more complicated problem.
