Home and Away: Beau forces Sonny into dangerous new criminal role
Beau takes his illegal steroid operation to a disturbing new level as he pressures Sonny into dealing drugs after a risky credit card scheme falls apart in Home and Away.
Sonny’s friendship with Beau takes another alarming turn in upcoming Home and Away scenes as he finds himself backed into a corner and pressured into becoming part of a dangerous drug operation.
After recently confiding in Remi about the trouble he’s got himself into, Sonny returns home hoping to buy another supply of steroids from Beau. However, the meeting quickly spirals when Beau questions where Sonny got the cash from.
When Beau suspects the money is dodgy, Sonny admits he swiped his millionaire friend’s credit card. Rather than being impressed, Beau is furious that Sonny has taken such a reckless risk, warning that bringing stolen money into the operation could destroy everything he has worked to build.
The confrontation soon turns physical, with Beau punching Sonny in the face before making it clear that he will not tolerate anything that could threaten his growing business.
Before the fallout can continue, Harper and Dana arrive home to discover Sonny nursing a swollen cheek. Thinking quickly, Sonny and Beau cover for what really happened, claiming Sonny simply lost his footing and took a nasty tumble. The sisters accept the explanation, completely unaware of the real tension brewing beneath the surface.
Although it appears the confrontation is over, Beau is already thinking several steps ahead. When the pair meet again, Sonny insists the money was never going to cause any problems because his wealthy friend would never even notice it had disappeared.
Instead of dismissing the idea entirely, Beau begins calculating just how much money could be made. He proposes an even bigger scheme, suggesting Sonny skim £10,000 from his friend’s credit card so he can invest the cash into expanding the steroid business. Beau promises that Sonny would become his partner and share in the profits once the operation grows.
The proposal leaves Sonny horrified. While he has already made one terrible decision, he refuses to deliberately steal such a huge amount from someone he considers one of his closest friends. Despite Beau repeatedly pushing him to reconsider, Sonny makes it clear he cannot go through with the plan, eventually agreeing only to think about it in the hope of ending the conversation.
For a brief moment, it looks as though Beau has accepted Sonny’s decision. However, it soon becomes obvious he has no intention of letting his new recruit walk away.
Later, after Harper decides to move forward with installing the location tracking app on her phone, Sonny once again tells Beau that the credit card scheme is off the table. He cannot betray his best mate, no matter how much pressure Beau puts him under.
Rather than arguing, Beau unveils a new plan that is even more alarming. If Sonny will not steal money, he will help distribute the steroids instead.
Sonny immediately refuses, making it clear he wants no part in dealing drugs. His objections fall on deaf ears as Beau takes matters into his own hands, stuffing the pills into Sonny’s backpack before ordering him to get the job done.
Beau leaves Sonny with an impossible choice. Either he helps sell the drugs, or he can forget about Beau supplying him ever again.
The latest twist highlights just how much Beau’s behaviour has changed since arriving in Summer Bay. What began as an illegal steroid business has steadily escalated into intimidation, manipulation and outright coercion, with Sonny becoming increasingly trapped every time he tries to escape.
As Sonny struggles with the consequences of his own poor decisions, he now faces the prospect of being dragged even deeper into criminal activity against his will. Whether he finds a way out before someone discovers the truth remains to be seen, but the pressure from Beau is showing no signs of easing.
