Hollyoaks has six key areas in its upcoming episodes, from a special instalment that reveals the truth behind a long-running mystery to personal revelations involving Mercedes, Leah, Leela and Abigail.
The storylines also include Frankie's distressing introduction to hospital work experience and Kathleen-Angel's decision to seek advice from AI rather than attend her appointment.
1. A special episode reveals a village mystery
A special episode travels back in time to explore a chance encounter in a faraway land.
Two Hollyoaks residents form a love story, while the truth behind a mystery that has gripped the village for months finally unravels.
2. Mercedes tries to escape Jenson
Mercedes spends the night with Jenson, who turns sinister when she rejects him. He confesses his love but refuses to let her out of his sight, forcing her to play nice in the hope of escaping.
Warren is furious when he learns what has happened and plans to put an end to Jenson's games. Dodger also receives disturbing new information about Jenson and shares it with Mercedes.
3. Leah discovers Imran's secret
Leah finds Imran's secret confession among his deleted computer files. She discovers that he still has feelings for his previous girlfriend, dashing her hopes of a reunion.
4. Leela admits her feelings for Tony
Leela confesses to Leah that she has feelings for Tony. Tony agrees to throw his children a joint sweet sixteen birthday celebration, with Maddox suggesting a Halloween party at the kiosk.
5. Frankie faces a distressing start at the hospital
Frankie's first day of work experience at the hospital gets off to a distressing start when her friend is rushed in for treatment.
6. Kathleen-Angel, Abigail and Dee Dee have personal developments
Kathleen-Angel attempts to dodge her hospital appointment by seeking AI advice about her symptoms in the hospital bathroom.
Abigail and Dee Dee meet in the garage, where Abigail brings out a bottle of wine and calls the occasion a first date.
