Lesbian Comedy DYKE Systems Ltd Exposes the Absurdity of Corporate Feminism
DYKE Systems Ltd brings lesbian comedy, pyramid schemes and corporate satire to Liverpool’s Unity Theatre on 19 November 2026.
A pair of American suburban entrepreneurs are promising financial freedom and personal empowerment in a new comedy that takes aim at pyramid schemes, corporate feminism and the pressure to fit into conventional society.
DYKE Systems Ltd, created by performers Kheski Kobler and Holly Wilson-Guy, arrives at Liverpool’s Unity Theatre on Thursday 19 November 2026 following its Edinburgh Festival Fringe run.
The production combines physical comedy with queer satire, presenting a fictional business seminar where the promise of success begins to unravel as the characters’ ambitions collide.
Meet Sally and Susan
Set during the expansion of multilevel marketing businesses in 1990s America, the story follows Sally and Susan as they attempt to recruit new members to their supposedly lucrative enterprise.

Their sales pitch promises independence, wealth and professional success, drawing on the motivational language commonly associated with corporate training and recruitment schemes.
However, as the women become increasingly invested in their business, tensions emerge and the polished image they present to potential recruits begins to break down.
The comedy examines how the pursuit of financial success can encourage people to conceal uncomfortable truths about their relationships and personal identities.

A Queer Perspective on Corporate Culture
Rather than simply mocking unsuccessful entrepreneurs, DYKE Systems Ltd explores how commercial organisations can adopt the language of empowerment while reinforcing expectations about gender, relationships and success.
The characters’ attempts to present themselves as respectable businesswomen are central to the satire, particularly when their private experiences conflict with the image they are selling.
The production also examines the pressure to conform to heterosexual expectations, using exaggerated performances and physical comedy to expose the contradictions in the characters’ lives.
Its 1990s setting provides a recognisable backdrop for the business culture being satirised, while the themes extend beyond that period.
Who Created the Show?
Kheski Kobler and Holly Wilson-Guy created, wrote and perform the production under the name Fag Packet.
Lucy Allan directs and co-wrote the show, with movement direction by Barry Fitzgerald, set design by Shahaf Beer, lighting by Benny Goodman and sound design by Sarah Spencer.
The production was selected for The Stage’s Fringe Five recognition following its Edinburgh Festival Fringe appearance, highlighting the creators among emerging theatre-makers.
The Liverpool performance offers another opportunity to see the approximately 60-minute production.
