Emmerdale spoilers 25 to 30 October as Dave pulls a gun on Chas

Liam believes he is caught up in one of Chas’s games, but his assumption proves dangerously wrong when Dave arrives at his door. Before long, Marlon is unconscious, Liam is trying to prevent the situation from escalating and Chas is being led outside at gunpoint. That crisis unfolds alongside Kim’s increasingly desperate efforts to find baby Tate, Paddy’s disturbing discovery and Sadie’s interference in Ruby and Caleb’s relationship.

Liam’s attempt to follow Chas’s clue ends in danger

The trouble begins after Liam returns from a medical conference with Manpreet. Chas accuses the pair of having an affair, leaving both of them shocked. Liam later tries to work out a clue Chas has left behind, but his efforts lead him into a much more dangerous situation.

When Dave knocks at the door, Liam assumes that he is part of Chas’s game. He even allows Dave to tie him up, failing to understand why Dave is really there. Dave becomes frustrated by Dylan’s absence, and Liam continues to misread what is happening.

Dylan eventually arrives, petrified to see Dave. Dave reveals that Dylan has informed the police about him, and Liam finally begins to realise that he is in danger.

Marlon and Chas arrive, but their presence does not calm matters. Dave knocks Marlon unconscious, leaving Liam and Chas to try to talk him down. Their efforts fail when Dave pulls a gun and guides Chas outside.

Kim’s confrontation with Thea has serious consequences

While Liam is dealing with Dave, Kim faces her own desperate situation after Graham tells her that baby Tate has been taken.

Kim’s confrontation with Thea turns violent when Thea loses her temper. Kim tries to run, but panics and stabs her while attempting to rush her. As Thea bleeds, Kim demands to know where the baby is.

Graham’s search has a more reassuring development when he rushes to Home Farm Stables and finds baby Tate safe and sound. However, he is shocked when the true kidnapper is revealed.

Kim then rushes Thea to hospital. A doctor insists that the police must be called, leaving Kim daunted and afraid of the consequences of what has happened.

Paddy encounters a chilling sight at work

Paddy finds what appears to be a body at the vets, with a knife sticking out of its back!

Sadie keeps working on Ruby and Caleb

Ruby and Caleb’s difficulties take a different turn when one of Ruby’s clients witnesses their argument and leaves unimpressed. The pair blame each other, and Ruby storms off rather than resolving their disagreement.

Sadie uses Ruby’s absence to convince Caleb that Ruby has a problem with alcohol. She continues her manipulation by planting the idea in Ruby’s mind that Caleb is controlling.

With Sadie feeding each of them a different message, the conflict between Ruby and Caleb is left simmering alongside the week’s more immediate dangers.

Emmerdale airs on ITV1 and is available to stream on ITVX.
