Emmerdale Spoilers 17–21 August: Biggest Stories Revealed

Dawn and Billy’s secret escape plan takes a terrifying turn, Kev finally exposes the truth and DS Ramsden continues questioning Charity’s confession.

Charity remains determined to protect Sarah over Dr Todd’s death, but DS Ramsden is not convinced by her version of events. Charity meets Serena, who helped conceal Sarah’s involvement, only for Ramsden to arrive. Jacob decides to stop asking questions, leaving Sarah struggling over whether she should tell him what really happened.

Dawn and Billy prepare to disappear with Clemmie using fake passports. Their escape is interrupted when Graham takes them to Joe’s surprise joint stag and hen celebration. Caleb cannot reach them and the situation becomes increasingly tense during clay pigeon shooting, with Billy horrified as Dawn’s gun begins pointing towards Joe.

Ruby and Caleb are meanwhile using Kev as part of their plan against Jimmy and Nicola’s struggling haulage business. Kev steals a shipment expecting valuable goods, only to discover nappies. Ruby then reveals she has footage proving Kev attacked Billy.

Kev retaliates by smashing Caleb’s laptop, but later gets drunk and accidentally admits to Billy that he was responsible for putting him in hospital. Billy also discovers Caleb and Ruby’s involvement, while Kev warns them that he will expose everything if he goes to prison.

Caleb continues holding onto Dawn and Billy’s fake passports until Joe’s wedding day, while Jimmy’s financial problems finally force him to sell the haulage business to Caleb and Ruby.

There is happier news when Lewis suggests Jimmy and Nicola renew their vows. Nicola loves the idea and Jimmy agrees.
