Emmerdale 11 to 16 October spoilers as Joe launches new plot
Joe begins a mysterious new plot and recruits Sadie against the Miligans as Vinny faces court and Samson prepares to return home.
Joe Tate puts another mysterious plan into motion as his dealings with Sadie King and the Miligans begin to gather pace.
Joe initially causes concern when Thea Ramsden brings him back to Home Farm drunk.
Kim Tate thanks Thea for being lenient with him, but Joe soon appears to regain his focus.

He is later seen carrying a brown briefcase and clearly putting another plot into motion, before recruiting Sadie for a potentially damaging task.
Joe wants Sadie to spy on the Miligans and obtain evidence that could destroy them.
She is initially uncertain about becoming involved, although her desperation eventually wins out.

Sadie has already started getting closer to Ruby.
Laurel Thomas tears a strip off her after finding her in the pub, but Sadie later tells Ruby about a previous controlling relationship.
Afterwards, Sadie smiles to herself, pleased that she appears to have successfully drawn Ruby in.

Her efforts continue when Vanessa Woodfield lets a secret slip.
Sadie pushes her for more detail and later tries to catch Caleb alone, although she quickly realises how difficult it could be to seduce him.

The Dingles are facing difficulties of their own.
Mandy invites Vinny home for tea before his court appearance, where he is surprised to find the family gathered to support him.

Mandy and Paddy later reassure a worried Vinny that he will be back with them in no time.
Despite their support, he remains frightened when he finally appears in court, while Mandy is later left struggling.

Cain is meanwhile unhappy with the meagre turnout at Zak’s memorial.
Sam and Lydia are increasingly excited about Samson returning home, but Sam decides against sharing the news with Cain after seeing his bad mood.

Samson’s return reopens emotional wounds for Matty Barton, with Moira soon on the opposite side of the dispute to Sam and Lydia.
Matty is staying in the room they had earmarked for Samson, which only adds to the tension.
Moira meddles, but Matty eventually comes downstairs carrying a suitcase. As Moira begs him not to leave, Matty tells her that she needs to forgive Samson.

Aaron Dingle also receives keys from an emotional Gabby and Laurel.
Robert privately explains everything and promises to stop scheming once the deal is completed.

He later confidently claims Claudette Anderson is not as good as people say, although he could be proved wrong.

Nicola King is also grateful for Bob Hope’s support, but Bob has received bad news himself.
