Emmerdale spoilers 2–5 November 2026 as Caleb betrays Ruby and Belle faces new ordeal

Caleb makes a decision that could destroy his marriage in next week's Emmerdale as Sadie continues manipulating his suspicions about Ruby and Ross. Convinced his wife has betrayed him, Caleb ends up sleeping with Sadie, unaware that she is deliberately encouraging the growing tension between them.

Elsewhere, Robert's plans for The Hide leave Charity furious when two familiar faces decide to leave the Woolpack. Belle also finds herself caught up in two troubling situations, while Nicola discovers an unexpected side to Kev.

Caleb sleeps with Sadie as jealousy takes over

Sadie continues interfering in Caleb and Ruby's marriage, taking advantage of Caleb's growing suspicions about Ross.

While drinking whisky together, Sadie encourages Caleb to believe his wife is involved with another man. As he imagines Ruby spending time with Ross, Caleb becomes increasingly angry and decides that he is finished with his marriage.

He then sleeps with Sadie, betraying Ruby despite having no proof that she has been unfaithful.

Sadie is not finished manipulating the situation. She begins flirting with Ross and persuades him to dance with her before swapping places with Ruby.

Caleb arrives just in time to see a drunken Ruby collapse against Ross, completely unaware that Sadie has deliberately brought them together.

For Caleb, the sight appears to support his suspicions, although he has already crossed a line himself.

Ruby confronts Sadie over her lies

Ruby is mortified when Caleb reveals that he witnessed her drunkenly dancing with Ross, but her embarrassment soon turns to fury.

She discovers that Sadie has encouraged Caleb to believe she spent the night with Ross and demands to know why her supposed friend has been interfering.

Cornered by Ruby's questions, Sadie attempts to explain her behaviour, insisting that she has only been acting out of concern.

However, Ruby is beginning to question whether Sadie's friendship has been genuine.

Caleb also takes action, curtly ordering Sadie to move out that day. His decision comes after their night together, leaving him with a betrayal of his own to answer for.

Robert's plans for The Hide leave Charity furious

Robert is determined to make a success of The Hide and sets his sights on recruiting Marlon as the restaurant's chef.

He approaches Marlon with an attractive offer, promising him creative freedom in the kitchen as part of the new business.

Marlon is persuaded by the opportunity, while Mary also decides to leave her job at the Woolpack and work for Robert.

Their decision comes as a shock to Charity, who is horrified when Marlon and Mary admit that they are handing in their notices.

Feeling betrayed, Charity angrily turns on the pair before directing her frustration towards Robert and Aaron.

The confrontation ends with Charity throwing both men out of the pub, making her feelings about Robert's recruitment drive perfectly clear.

Despite the argument, securing Marlon and Mary represents an important step forward for Robert's plans. He and Aaron now have another reason to look towards the future, even if Charity is far from pleased.

Belle's concerns about Caz backfire

Belle becomes worried about the relationship between Caz and Jordan after meeting the couple through her wedding work.

Having experienced Tom's controlling and abusive behaviour, Belle is particularly alert to relationship dynamics that make her uncomfortable.

She decides to invite Caz over for a private conversation, hoping to give her an opportunity to discuss anything that might be troubling her.

However, Caz is shocked by Belle's suggestion and reacts angrily.

She insists that she and Jordan are happy together and makes it clear that Belle has misjudged their relationship.

The conversation ends badly when Caz fires Belle, leaving her devastated that her attempt to help has cost her work.

A sinister delivery raises fears about Tom

Belle's difficulties continue when Kammy discovers a wreath made from dead flowers addressed to her.

The unsettling delivery immediately raises suspicions about Tom, whose approaching release from prison has already caused concern.

Although Tom becomes the main suspect, his involvement in sending the wreath is not established.

Cain becomes involved and urges Kammy not to tell Belle about the discovery, leaving the two men aware of something that could cause her further distress.

With Belle already struggling after her confrontation with Caz, the appearance of the wreath creates another worrying situation for those closest to her.

Nicola sees a different side to Kev

Nicola opens up about her grief during a conversation with Kev, allowing herself to discuss some difficult feelings.

She is surprised when Kev responds by showing a more vulnerable side to his personality, revealing something she had not expected from him.

Their exchange provides a quieter moment during a difficult week in the village, with Nicola taken aback by Kev's unexpected openness.
