Celebrity Traitors Winners Revealed After James Blunt’s Final Mistake
Ranganathan and Sebastian Croft win The Celebrity Traitors 2026, securing £83,000 for charity after a dramatic final elimination.
Romesh Ranganathan and Sebastian Croft have won the second series of The Celebrity Traitors, securing an £83,000 charity prize after surviving a final confrontation that saw James Blunt eliminated despite being a Faithful.
Friday 30 October’s 80-minute finale brought the BBC competition to a close with the remaining contestants forced to decide whether they had successfully identified the Traitors or were about to share the prize with someone who had deceived them.
The result eventually came down to Romesh and Sebastian, who correctly revealed themselves as Faithfuls after the final vote, ensuring that the money would be donated to their chosen charities.
How Maya Jama and King Kenny were exposed
The final began with the remaining contestants discovering that Michael Sheen had been murdered, leaving Romesh, Sebastian, James, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Maya Jama and King Kenny competing for the prize.
Maya became the focus of suspicion during the final roundtable and was eventually banished, revealing that she had been a Traitor throughout the competition.
Her departure left Kenny as the final surviving Traitor, although the Faithfuls still faced the challenge of identifying him before ending the game.
At the firepit, the remaining players continued voting rather than immediately agreeing to share the money, leading to Leigh-Anne’s elimination despite her being a Faithful.
Suspicion then turned towards Kenny, who was correctly banished, leaving Romesh, Sebastian and James as the final three contestants.
Why James Blunt lost his place
With the last Traitor gone, the remaining Faithfuls could have ended the competition and shared the prize, but James was unconvinced that the group was safe.
He chose to continue voting, prompting Romesh and Sebastian to reconsider whether the singer might have been concealing his identity.
Their subsequent votes eliminated James, who revealed that he had also been a Faithful, leaving the final two contestants to make the last decision.
Romesh and Sebastian agreed to end the game and confirmed that neither had been a Traitor, securing the charity prize after weeks of suspicion and deception.
Where does the £83,000 prize go?
The winners divided the money between two organisations, with Romesh supporting the Refugee Council and Sebastian choosing Choose Love.
Both charities work with refugees and displaced people, providing practical support and assistance to those affected by conflict and displacement.
The final also brought the celebrity series to a close following a successful run for the BBC, with the programme attracting substantial audiences through both BBC One and iPlayer.
The Celebrity Traitors is available to watch on BBC iPlayer, alongside the accompanying Uncloaked programme hosted by Ed Gamble.
