EastEnders Zoe Slater Death Leaves Her Family Devastated

Zoe’s sudden death next week is set to affect far more than Kat as upcoming EastEnders scenes show the devastating impact her loss has on the wider family.

Kat is the person who discovers Zoe’s body after entering her bedroom, but once Alfie learns what has happened there is another heartbreaking reality to face. Zoe’s loved ones must be told that she has died.

Jasmine and Josh are among those facing the loss of their birth mum. The news comes with no opportunity to prepare themselves, leaving the twins dealing with another enormous emotional upheaval.

Tommy, Bert and Ernie are also about to lose the older sister they adored. Alfie immediately recognises that Zoe’s death will affect the entire household, even while Kat is in such deep shock that she can barely begin dealing with anybody else’s grief.

Jean, Mo and Lily are also heading towards The Vic following their eviction from No.31 when they learn what has happened. Their own problems suddenly take a back seat as the family comes together following Zoe’s death.

Rather than allowing those around her to help, however, Kat’s grief is only beginning. The devastating discovery sets up an incredibly difficult period for the family as everyone tries to process the same loss in very different ways.

Zoe’s death therefore marks the beginning of a major new chapter for the Slaters, with its consequences set to spread across several generations of the family.
