EastEnders Zoe Slater Death Horror as Kat Finds Her Body
Kat faces an unimaginable nightmare in upcoming EastEnders scenes when she enters Zoe’s bedroom and discovers that her daughter has died overnight.
Coming up on EastEnders, Kat faces every parent’s worst nightmare when she goes into Zoe’s bedroom and discovers her daughter lying lifeless in bed.
Zoe had suffered a head injury before going to sleep, but there had been nothing to suggest that she was in immediate danger. Kat therefore has no reason to expect anything is wrong when she goes to wake her daughter, making the discovery even more devastating.
Completely overwhelmed by what she has found, Kat initially cannot bring herself to tell anybody. She keeps the terrible news to herself as she struggles to process the reality that Zoe has suddenly died.
It is Alfie who eventually realises that something is seriously wrong. Once the truth emerges, he is equally stunned and quickly understands that Kat is in no position to deal with what comes next.
The devastating news will also have to be shared with Zoe’s wider family, including Jasmine and Josh. Tommy, Bert and Ernie are also facing the loss of their big sister as the Slaters are suddenly forced to come to terms with a death none of them saw coming.
For Kat, however, the immediate aftermath proves almost impossible to comprehend. After years of difficulties between mother and daughter, Zoe’s sudden death leaves her completely blindsided at a moment when their relationship had once again become a huge part of her life.
