Vicki refuses to let Joel’s attacker escape justice in upcoming EastEnders scenes as the family’s nightmare continues.

Joel remains in hospital following the violent assault, leaving Ross and Vicki desperately searching for answers. While police continue investigating, the lack of clear evidence means the family are forced to watch as rumour and suspicion spread around Walford.

She supports Ross as they begin questioning people connected to the teenagers who were present on the night Joel was attacked. Hoping someone will finally provide the breakthrough they need, they believe they are slowly getting closer to discovering what really happened.

After following up on fresh information, Ross and Vicki realise they have been concentrating on the wrong people. Conversations with Kat and Alfie reveal that even the adults are struggling to understand exactly what happened, making it clear the real answers still lie with the teenagers themselves.

Every conversation seems to uncover another secret rather than bringing them closer to identifying Joel’s attacker. Instead of finding certainty, they are left with an ever growing list of questions as more members of the friendship group appear to know something they are unwilling to reveal.

She continues supporting Ross as pressure builds on the teenagers, particularly after Barney’s growing guilt leads him to confess what he knows to Zack before later giving a statement to police. While his account offers investigators another piece of the puzzle, it still fails to identify the person responsible for the attack.

Watching Joel recover while facing constant uncertainty proves exhausting for both Ross and Vicki. Each new lead raises their expectations, only for another obstacle to appear before they can finally uncover the truth.

As Walford’s families become increasingly divided and the investigation gathers pace, she believes somebody will eventually tell the truth. Until then, she is determined to stand by Joel and support Ross through one of the most difficult periods their family has ever faced.

With several teenagers still hiding crucial information, Vicki knows the truth cannot stay buried forever. The only question is who will finally find the courage to reveal what really happened on the night Joel’s life changed forever.
