EastEnders Penny Branning Gives Birth as Vinny Misses Labour

Penny’s pregnancy reaches its dramatic conclusion in upcoming EastEnders scenes when she suddenly goes into labour during Vinny’s 30th birthday celebrations.

Penny has organised a party with the Panesars because she wants to make Vinny’s birthday special. However, she is also carrying enormous guilt over the fact that Vinny may not actually be her baby’s biological father.

She plans to tell him the truth, despite Lauren warning that confessing could create even more problems. Before Penny gets the opportunity, she steps outside to clear her head and her waters suddenly break.

Penny is rushed to hospital, where Suki and Jack stay by her side and do their best to keep her calm. Vinny, however, has overindulged at his birthday celebration and initially has no idea that Penny has gone into labour.

Gina and Harry realise how serious the situation has become and desperately try to sober him up. Thankfully, Vinny eventually makes it to the hospital in time for the birth. Penny safely delivers a baby boy, bringing a joyful end to the pregnancy after an incredibly stressful day.

Yet the question of the child’s paternity has not disappeared. Penny knows that Harry could be the biological father, meaning the arrival of her son leaves her facing a decision that could change several lives.
