EastEnders Max Goes Missing as Cindy Waits to Marry Him
EastEnders puts Cindy and Max’s wedding on the brink when the groom suddenly disappears, forcing Jack and Oscar into a desperate search.
Cindy’s wedding day will be thrown into serious doubt in upcoming EastEnders scenes when Max disappears before he is supposed to meet her at the ceremony.
Cindy has been preparing to marry the man she believes she is about to start a new chapter with, but she has no idea just how badly things are unraveling elsewhere. While she gets ready for the big moment, Max is nowhere near where his bride expects him to be.
His disappearance follows an explosive period behind the scenes. The truth about his affair with Priya is spreading, with Linda discovering what has been going on and Lauren also finding out about her dad’s betrayal.
Lauren is appalled by what Max has done and refuses to support him marrying Cindy while hiding such a huge secret. The confrontation leaves Max under enormous pressure before he eventually disappears altogether.
Cindy is initially kept in the dark as panic begins among those who know the groom has vanished. Jack and Oscar take on the task of finding Max, knowing there is rapidly running out of time before Cindy starts asking questions.
They eventually manage to locate him, but that does not mean the wedding is immediately saved. Max still has to get back to the ceremony, leaving Jack and Oscar facing a race to make sure he reaches his bride.
Meanwhile, Cindy has another wedding occupying her thoughts. Kim and Howie are getting married on the same day, and Cindy is unhappy to discover that many people in Walford appear to be choosing their celebrations instead.
What she does not realise is that a disappointing turnout could soon be the least of her problems.
Even if Jack and Oscar succeed in getting Max to the ceremony, the truth about Priya remains dangerously close to the surface. Linda knows, Lauren knows, and Max is attempting to marry Cindy while hoping none of it reaches her.
Cindy could therefore get her groom back just in time, only to discover that his disappearance was not the biggest threat to their future.
With the ceremony approaching and Max’s secrets closing in around him, the question is whether he and Cindy will actually make it through their wedding day together.
