Drag Race Favourites Join London's Adults-Only Christmas Pantomime
Drag Race favourites including Blu Hydrangea, Michael Marouli and Vanity Milan join London's adults-only Jack and the Beanstalk pantomime.
A dozen drag performers are preparing to take on one enormous role in London's Jack and the Beanstalk, with familiar faces from RuPaul's Drag Race joining the cast of the adults-only Christmas pantomime.
Blu Hydrangea, Michael Marouli, Vanity Milan and Choriza May are among the performers announced for the production, which begins at the Emerald Theatre on 2 December.
Twelve Giants and One Beanstalk
The pantomime comes from drag production company TuckShop, which is bringing its version of the traditional fairy tale back to the stage for an extended festive run.
Rather than casting one performer as the Giant, the production features a rotating line-up of drag artists, giving audiences the opportunity to see different performers in the role.
Other announced names include Black Peppa, Kyran Thrax, Herr, Tayris Mongardi, Nyongbella and Tiana Biscuit.
The arrangement brings together television personalities and performers from London's wider drag and cabaret scene.
Each performer will take on the same character, although the rotating cast means audiences may see a different Giant depending on the performance they attend.
The production retains the familiar story of Jack and his journey up the beanstalk but replaces the traditional family pantomime approach with adult humour, drag performances and comedy.
When and Where to See Jack and the Beanstalk
Jack and the Beanstalk begins previews at London's Emerald Theatre on 2 December, with its official opening scheduled for 9 December.
Performances continue until 10 January 2027, making the show an option for audiences seeking festive entertainment beyond the usual family productions.
The pantomime is intended for adults, and audiences should check the booking information for individual performances and the rotating cast before purchasing tickets.
