Coronation Street’s Daniel lashes out as Adam’s secret puts more than family at risk
Daniel’s discovery about Adam turns physical in Coronation Street, leaving Summer waiting for her solicitor at Marco’s appeal.
Coming up on Coronation Street, Daniel’s campaign to protect school land creates a problem far beyond his argument with Adam. While the relatives clash in Weatherfield, Summer is waiting at court for the solicitor she hopes can help Marco.
Daniel has been trying to stop land used by the school being sold for development. After his petition struggles to attract support, Ken encourages him to take the campaign to the Gazette and explain why the space should be protected for local children.
The newspaper’s decision to publish his article gives Daniel something to celebrate. Ken shares his happiness, but Adam and Alya are left concealing their discomfort because Idris is the developer involved in the proposed purchase.
Alya has already agreed to represent her uncle, placing the business directly within the solicitors’ working lives. Daniel has been discussing his campaign with people who know far more about the other side than they have admitted.
When Daniel discovers Adam’s involvement, the professional disagreement becomes a family confrontation. Adam insists that he could not afford to turn down the work, but Daniel is unwilling to accept that explanation.
Ken and Amy are horrified when the argument turns into a fight in the street. Tyrone separates the pair, only to discover that Adam is due at Marco’s appeal with his suit ripped and his clothes covered in blood.
Meanwhile, Summer is relying on Adam to challenge the decision keeping her boyfriend in prison. Alya tries to reassure her, but the wait leaves Summer increasingly anxious until Adam finally races into court.
