Coronation Street Summer has doubts over Marco date
Summer admits to Asha that she has agreed to a date with Marco but remains unsure, while Asha has worries of her own about seeing Sienna at work.
Summer may have agreed to go on a date with Marco, but upcoming Coronation Street scenes show she is far from completely convinced about the newcomer.
After Marco made his interest clear, Summer tells Asha that she has decided to give him a chance. Despite agreeing to meet him, however, she admits that she still has doubts.
That uncertainty is understandable after their unusual first meeting. Marco took one of Summer’s drawings without permission before later explaining that he wanted an excuse to see her again.
Summer is therefore stepping into the date with questions still hanging over whether she can trust her first impression of him.
Asha is dealing with worries of her own at the same time. She tells Summer that she is anxious about seeing Sienna at work, meaning both friends are facing situations they would rather approach with more certainty.
The conversation gives Summer and Asha an opportunity to support each other while both navigate uncomfortable feelings. For Summer, the date with Marco could either reassure her that she was right to give him another chance or confirm that her initial hesitation was worth listening to.
There is no confirmation yet of where Summer and Marco’s connection will lead, but she clearly is not rushing into anything without thinking carefully first.
