Sean Tully faces every parent's worst nightmare in Coronation Street when Dylan Wilson is found unconscious following a brutal attack, leaving him desperate for answers and determined to see the person responsible brought to justice.

In upcoming scenes, Dylan is lured to the precinct before being violently assaulted. Nina later discovers him lying injured and immediately raises the alarm, with Dylan rushed to hospital for treatment. As news spreads around Weatherfield, Sean is left fearing the worst as he rushes to be by his son's side.

The attack marks another traumatic chapter for the family after months of upheaval. Sean has watched Dylan become caught up in one crisis after another, and he is devastated that his son has once again become the victim of violence.

As Dylan receives medical treatment, Sean cannot stop asking one question. Who would want to hurt his son so badly?

His thoughts quickly turn towards Brody. The hostility between the two teenagers has become impossible to ignore since Betsy suffered her stroke, and Sean believes Brody's anger may finally have spilled over into violence. Convinced he has found the answer, Sean wastes little time voicing his suspicions.

However, the situation may not be as straightforward as it first appears. Although Brody has clashed repeatedly with Dylan, he is not the only person who has reason to blame him for the events surrounding Betsy's illness. Several residents have strong emotions tied to the storyline, meaning Sean could be directing his anger at the wrong person.

For Sean, that uncertainty only adds to the heartbreak. While Dylan lies in hospital recovering from his injuries, he is powerless to do anything other than wait for news and hope police uncover the truth before anyone else gets hurt.

The ordeal also highlights how protective Sean has become of Dylan. Despite the mistakes his son has made in the past, Sean has remained firmly in his corner and has repeatedly tried to help him move forward. Seeing Dylan attacked after everything they have already been through leaves Sean questioning whether the cycle of revenge surrounding Betsy's stroke has gone far enough.

As the investigation gathers pace, Sean refuses to let the matter rest. Whether his suspicions prove correct or not, he is determined to ensure the person responsible faces the consequences for leaving Dylan fighting to recover.
