Sarah's future could take an unexpected turn in upcoming Coronation Street scenes after Kit uncovers phone evidence that he believes changes the way the case should be viewed.

He becomes convinced that Sarah's actions in the aftermath were shaped by Gary, who allegedly stepped in to help cover up what had happened instead of encouraging her to report it immediately.
