Where Can You Fly Next? easyJet Confirms 61 New UK Routes for Winter and Summer

British travellers will have more destinations to choose from this winter and next summer, with easyJet listing 61 new routes from 15 UK airports, including direct services to Lapland, Egypt and popular European city-break destinations.

The airline’s updated route programme, published on 6 November 2026, includes 38 routes for winter 2026/27 and 23 for summer 2027. The routes were announced at different points throughout the year, but the latest overview brings them together as holidaymakers begin planning winter escapes and next summer’s holidays.

Which New Flights Are Launching This November?

Eighteen routes are scheduled to begin operating throughout November, with the first two services, Newcastle to Copenhagen and London Luton to Rabat, having started on 5 November.

Manchester Airport will introduce a twice-weekly service to Cairo Sphinx Airport in Egypt from 9 November, operating on Mondays and Fridays. The airport provides access to western Cairo and the Pyramids of Giza, although passengers should allow sufficient time for road transfers when choosing accommodation.

Glasgow to Kraków launches on 13 November, with flights every Monday and Friday. Birmingham to Copenhagen follows on 16 November, while Bristol and Belfast International both gain twice-weekly Budapest services from 17 November.

Manchester passengers will also be able to fly directly to Vienna from 19 November, with Newcastle to Berlin beginning on 20 November. Both destinations offer opportunities for winter city breaks, particularly for travellers interested in European Christmas markets and historic city centres.

London Gatwick gains flights to Nuremberg from 19 November, with London Luton adding its own Nuremberg route from 23 November. Bristol to Strasbourg also launches on 20 November, followed by a four-times-weekly London Luton to Strasbourg service from 29 November.

Which Airports Have New Lapland and Northern Lights Flights?

Winter travellers hoping to visit Lapland or experience the northern lights will benefit from several new direct services to northern Europe.

London Luton to Kittilä in Finnish Lapland begins on 24 November, operating twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Liverpool will introduce its own Kittilä service on 25 November, with flights every Wednesday and Saturday.

Newcastle to Rovaniemi also launches on 25 November, providing a direct connection to the Finnish city associated with Santa Claus. Flights operate twice weekly, on Wednesdays and Sundays, making the destination an option for Christmas-themed trips and winter holidays.

Travellers in Scotland will gain a new Edinburgh to Tromsø service from 30 November, operating on Mondays and Thursdays. The Norwegian city is a popular starting point for northern lights excursions, although sightings depend on weather conditions and solar activity and cannot be guaranteed.

What New Destinations Are Coming in Summer 2027?

EasyJet has also confirmed 23 new summer routes from 11 UK airports, with services beginning between March and July 2027.

Southampton will gain a daily connection to Edinburgh from 28 March, alongside twice-weekly flights to Málaga from 1 May and La Rochelle from 29 May. The additions provide more options for travellers in southern England who would otherwise need to depart from larger airports.

London Gatwick will introduce flights to Cagliari in Sardinia, Girona in Spain and Ajaccio in Corsica, while London Luton gains a direct connection to Rennes in France.

Elsewhere, Edinburgh will add routes to Rome, Bilbao, Hamburg and Tivat in Montenegro, while Newcastle gains Larnaca in Cyprus. Bristol will also introduce services to Montpellier in France and Burgas on Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast.

Will the New Routes Make Holidays Cheaper?

Additional direct flights can provide more choice, particularly for passengers who previously needed to travel to another UK airport or connect through a European hub. However, the introduction of a new service does not automatically mean lower ticket prices, as fares depend on demand, availability and departure dates.

Travellers should compare the total holiday cost rather than relying on advertised one-way fares, particularly when travelling with checked baggage or booking specific seats. Airport transfers, accommodation and the frequency of return flights can also affect whether a new route represents good value.

Some services operate only once or twice weekly, which may limit options for shorter trips or travellers with fixed holiday dates. Passengers should also check passport validity, entry requirements and any applicable travel authorisations before booking, particularly for destinations outside the European Union.

The complete updated route list, including operating days and start dates, is available through the official easyJet new routes page. Flights are available to book through the airline’s website, with fares and availability varying by route and departure date.
