Toy Story 5 Is Coming to Disney+ This September and the UK Release Date Is Confirmed
Toy Story 5 is coming to Disney+ UK in September 2026. Find out the confirmed streaming release date and where to watch Woody, Buzz and Jessie’s latest Pixar adventure.
Toy Story 5 is officially heading to Disney+ in the UK, with Disney confirming exactly when Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the rest of the Pixar favourites will be available to watch at home.
The film arrived in UK cinemas in June and continued one of Pixar’s biggest franchises, bringing Tom Hanks back as Woody, Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear and Joan Cusack as Jessie. This time, however, the toys are facing something very different as technology begins competing with traditional playtime for Bonnie’s attention.
At the centre of the new story is Lilypad, a smart tablet voiced by Greta Lee. Her arrival creates a major new challenge for the toys as Bonnie becomes increasingly interested in her digital device, leaving Woody, Buzz and the others questioning where they fit into a childhood increasingly shaped by screens.
The Disney+ release gives viewers who missed the cinema run their first opportunity to watch the new film as part of their existing Disney+ subscription. It also means all five main Toy Story films will be available through Disney’s streaming ecosystem, making September a particularly good time for anyone planning a complete rewatch.
For UK viewers searching for when Toy Story 5 will be available to stream, there is no longer any uncertainty over the date.
Disney has officially confirmed the film will make its Disney+ debut on 23 September, just over three months after its UK cinema launch.
