Strictly Come Dancing's Halloween special takes place on Saturday 31 October 2026. Find out what viewers can expect and where to watch.
Strictly Come Dancing’s Halloween special returns to BBC One on Saturday, October 31 at 6:30 pm, featuring 11 remaining couples and the show's first-ever triple dance-off.
The BBC ballroom competition will transform its familiar setting with costumes, theatrical performances and Halloween-inspired routines as the remaining celebrities compete for a place in the later stages of the series. We cannot wait to see this years costumes!

What can viewers expect?
Halloween Week traditionally sees the professional dancers and celebrities take on recognisable characters and supernatural themes, with the production team creating elaborate costumes, make-up and staging.

The judges also join the celebrations.
During the 2025 special, Craig Revel Horwood and Anton Du Beke appeared dressed as the twins from The Shining, adding to the evening's theatrical atmosphere.
Despite the costumes and unusual themes, the contestants still need to impress the judges with their technique and performance.

Who will be dancing?
Halloween Week arrives as the competition becomes more demanding, with fewer celebrities remaining and every performance becoming increasingly important, and Eleven pairings will take to the floor:
Bethany Antonia and Nancy Xu, Cach Mercer and Maddie Ingoldsby, Dani Dyer and Nikita Kuzmin, Delta Goodrem and Kai Widdrington, Graeme Hall and Lauren Oakley, Jaime Winstone and Carlos Gu, John Nellis and Katya Jones, Lacey Turner and Vito Coppola, Lawrence Robb and Jowita Przystał, Tabby Stoecker and Mark Karmalita, and Will Best and Dianne Buswell.

They perform without Shaun Wright-Phillips and Alexis Warr, who were eliminated following the October 25 results show, joining earlier evictees Chris Appleton, Melanie Walters, and Dame Sarah Storey.
Who’s the favourite to win?
EastEnders star Lacey Turner leads the betting, best priced at 15/8 with Bet365 as of 24 October.

Olympic skeleton champion Tabby Stoecker follows at 7/2 with Betway, then Delta Goodrem at 4/1 with William Hill.
Stoecker topped the week 5 leaderboard with 37, the highest score of the series so far, while Goodrem scored 34 on her return from a rib injury.
Odds change quickly and vary between bookmakers, so anything could happen!
