Queer Britain explores LGBTQ+ nightlife with Sex, Clubs, Dissent book event
Queer Britain hosts a discussion of Sex, Clubs, Dissent, exploring the visual history of LGBTQ+ nightlife with questions and a book signing.
Queer nightlife’s visual history is the subject of an upcoming evening at Queer Britain. Author Amelia and artist Sunil will discuss the new book Sex, Clubs, Dissent at the national LGBTQ+ museum in London.
The event takes place on 14 October at 6.30pm, bringing the book’s exploration of queer nightlife into a public conversation. Visitors will have the opportunity to hear the discussion and put their own questions to the speakers.
A book signing is also included in the programme. That makes the evening an opportunity for readers to engage with the work beyond its pages, whether they already have a copy or are discovering it for the first time.
Queer Britain is based at Granary Square in King’s Cross. Tickets are listed at £15, with a pay-what-you-can option available for the event.
