Hollyoaks Dee Dee faces fresh pressure as school drama unfolds
Dee Dee finds herself facing another uncomfortable situation in Hollyoaks as preparations for the school play bring increasing pressure from Abigail, who has strong ideas about the role her daughter should pursue.
With auditions approaching, Abigail is determined for Dee Dee to put herself forward for the leading part, although her enthusiasm does not appear to be shared by the person expected to perform.
The situation becomes particularly interesting with Trina also taking part, as the two girls approach the opportunity with very different attitudes towards being in the spotlight.
For Dee Dee, the prospect of performing brings additional pressure at a point when her relationship with Abigail is already an important part of her storyline.
Meanwhile, the school is experiencing another uncomfortable situation when Tony attempts to find a solution to Sienna's boredom, which has resulted in her becoming an increasingly frequent presence in his life.
His efforts lead to Nancy considering Sienna for a vacant personal assistant position, although Abigail's involvement threatens to make the application process considerably more difficult.
With the auditions approaching and tensions developing among the adults, the school becomes the setting for several important conversations, leaving Dee Dee facing questions about what she actually wants.
