A 25-year-old drag performer from Vancouver is preparing to introduce her distinctive fashion designs and stage performances to an international television audience when Canada’s Drag Race returns in November.

Bliss, originally from Ottawa, is among the 12 contestants announced for the competition’s seventh season, which premieres on Thursday 19 November 2026.

The performer has built her career through illustration, costume-making and regular live appearances, developing a creative identity that combines fashion with performance.

Her appearance in the newly released Meet the Queens promotional material gives viewers an introduction to an artist whose work extends beyond the drag stage.

Who is Bliss from Canada’s Drag Race?

Bliss is a Canadian drag performer who has developed her creative skills through illustration and self-taught fashion design.

Now based in Vancouver, she regularly hosts drag shows and performs several times a week, gaining experience in front of live audiences.

Her artistic work also includes creating costumes and designing promotional posters, giving her control over much of the visual presentation associated with her performances.

That combination of skills could prove particularly useful during the competition’s design challenges, where contestants are required to create original looks within limited preparation periods.

Bliss has also developed experience entertaining audiences through live hosting, another skill that could become important during comedy and improvisation challenges.

What makes Bliss’s creative background interesting?

While many drag performers work with specialist designers, Bliss has developed her own fashion-making skills and regularly produces costumes herself.

Her background in illustration allows her to approach drag through several creative disciplines, from developing an outfit to creating the artwork used to promote a performance.

She also uses those abilities to support other performers, creating designs and promotional material beyond her own appearances.

That work provides an additional reason to follow her progress, particularly when the competition asks contestants to demonstrate originality and technical ability.

The programme has not revealed how Bliss performs during the season, so any suggestion that she will excel in particular challenges would be premature.

Who else is competing in season seven?

Bliss joins a cast of 12 performers from across Canada, including contestants with backgrounds in theatre, comedy, fashion and live entertainment.

Among them is Paolo Perfección, who returns after appearing in season six, becoming the first contestant to compete in consecutive seasons of the Canadian programme.

The new series will feature nine episodes, with contestants facing challenges involving acting, singing, dancing, costume-making and improvisation.

The winner will receive the title of Canada’s Next Drag Superstar alongside a cash prize of $100,000 Canadian dollars.

When does Canada’s Drag Race return?

Canada’s Drag Race season seven premieres on Thursday 19 November 2026 at 9pm Eastern Time on the Canadian streaming service Crave.

The programme will also be released internationally through WOW Presents Plus, including in the UK.

The official Meet the Queens special is already available, allowing viewers to become familiar with the contestants before the competition begins.

For Bliss, the series provides an opportunity to introduce her fashion designs, illustration work and live performance skills to audiences beyond Canada’s drag circuit.

Canada’s Drag Race season seven begins on 19 November 2026 on WOW Presents Plus in the UK.
