Joe Tate Makes Brutal Dawn Funeral Decision

Joe Tate makes a heartbreaking decision over Dawn’s funeral in upcoming Emmerdale scenes as his grief threatens to shut everyone else out.

Still struggling to cope with losing Dawn, Joe decides her funeral will be completely private. However, Kim is stunned when she discovers just how far he intends to take that decision.

Joe insists there will be no guests at all. He wants to attend Dawn’s funeral alone, denying even those closest to her the chance to be there for the final goodbye. Kim is dismayed by his decision and increasingly concerned by the way Joe is dealing with his loss.

Rather than allowing the family to come together, Joe appears determined to control Dawn’s farewell himself. His grief has left him struggling to think beyond his own pain, and the funeral becomes another sign of just how deeply her death has affected him.

Kim can see that Joe is suffering, but his decision places her in a difficult position. Dawn meant far more to the family than simply being Joe’s wife, and excluding everybody else could create even more hurt at an already devastating time.

Joe appears unwilling to change his mind, leaving Kim facing the possibility that Dawn’s loved ones will be forced to stay away.

Will anyone be able to persuade him that he does not have to face Dawn’s funeral alone?
