I’m a Celebrity 2026: Twelve Stars Tipped for Jungle – But Could ITV Have More Surprises?
Wayne Rooney, Claire Sweeney and Joanna Page are tipped for I’m a Celebrity 2026. Could ITV have more surprises planned?
Twelve celebrities are reportedly preparing to enter the Australian jungle as I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! returns later this month. Wayne Rooney, former Coronation Street actress Claire Sweeney and Gavin & Stacey star Joanna Page are among those tipped to take part, but could ITV have a few surprises planned?
With the broadcaster yet to officially confirm its contestants, the reported line-up remains speculation.
Who is rumoured for I’m a Celebrity 2026?
Former England footballer Wayne Rooney is one of the biggest names linked to the series, potentially following his wife Coleen, who finished runner-up in 2024. Could Wayne go one better and claim the crown?

Claire Sweeney, who previously played Cassie Plummer in Coronation Street, is also reportedly heading into the jungle, alongside Joanna Page and comedian Leigh Francis, best known as Keith Lemon.
Other rumoured contestants include Big Brother presenter AJ Odudu, Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson, Love Island star Chloe Burrows and Paralympian Ade Adepitan.
Model Leomie Anderson, broadcaster Mariella Frostrup, YouTuber Sharky and comedian Jack Skipper complete the reported twelve-person line-up.
Could former contestants return?
I’m a Celebrity has welcomed returning celebrities before. Katie Price first appeared in 2004 before returning in 2009, while Gillian McKeith competed in 2010 and later appeared in the South Africa all-stars edition.
Olivia Attwood could also be an interesting candidate for a future comeback after leaving the 2022 series on medical grounds just 24 hours after entering.
Could ITV invite another former campmate back, or arrange a surprise celebrity visit? With Wayne reportedly involved, some viewers might even wonder whether Coleen could make an appearance.
These are purely theories, with no official announcements suggesting any former contestants or celebrity visitors are planned for this series.
When does I’m a Celebrity 2026 start?
ITV has confirmed that Ant and Dec will return on Monday 16 November at 9pm, with the companion programme I’m a Celebrity… Unpacked also returning, hosted by Sam Thompson and Kemi Rodgers.
The official contestant announcement is still awaited, leaving viewers to discover whether the reported twelve will make it into camp and whether ITV has any additional surprises in store.
