Home and Away’s Zane refuses to press charges as Alf demands answers
Zane chooses not to pursue charges against Austin after the attack, while Marilyn admits her mistake and faces difficult questions from Alf.
Coming up in Home and Away, Zane decides against pressing charges after Austin attacks him.
His choice allows Heidi’s brother to leave with a warning, although Alf is unhappy about letting the confrontation pass without punishment.

Alf ultimately accepts that the decision belongs to Zane. Having already caused Heidi and her family lasting suffering, Zane does not want to put them through more misery.
Austin apologises to Marilyn before leaving, but his position remains firm. He insists that Zane must never contact the family again.

Marilyn then acknowledges that she went against Zane’s wishes by approaching Austin. She accepts that her intervention exposed him to the confrontation.
Zane responds with understanding, recognising how far she has gone to help him. Alf is less forgiving, and once Zane has gone to bed, Marilyn is left explaining why she thought contacting Austin was the right decision.
Home and Away airs weekdays on Channel 5 and streams on 5. SoapLandTV follows the UK episodes, so Australian viewers may already have seen the events covered. Images: Channel 5 / Seven Network.
