Home and Away’s Zane attacked after Marilyn’s secret call backfires
Marilyn contacts Heidi’s brother behind Zane’s back, bringing an angry confrontation to Summer Bay House that ends with police intervention.
Coming up in Home and Away, Marilyn’s attempt to help Zane ends with him being attacked at home.
Her secret call to Heidi’s brother brings Austin to Summer Bay, where he demands to confront the man responsible for his sister’s injuries.
Marilyn hopes that explaining Zane’s efforts to rebuild his life might persuade Austin to listen.
Instead, he tells her that Heidi needs a carer and cannot even read the apology Zane sent.
Austin follows Marilyn home and refuses to leave before seeing Zane.
Marilyn tries to take responsibility for suggesting the letter, but her explanation fails to calm him.
When Zane arrives with Alf, Austin forces him against the wall. Zane does not retaliate, while Alf calls the police.
Officers arrive and take Austin away, ending the confrontation. Marilyn’s hope of opening a conversation between Zane and Heidi’s family has instead brought their anger directly into his home.
