Home and Away's Sonny Baldwin Risks Losing Dana as His Dangerous Secret Grows

Sonny Baldwin's relationship with Dana has gone from strength to strength in recent times, but one dangerous decision threatens to undermine everything they have built together.

This coming week as Sonny becomes increasingly frustrated by his slow recovery, he secretly turns to performance enhancing drugs in the hope of getting back on his feet more quickly. While he believes he is protecting Dana from worrying about him, the reality is very different.

Instead of being honest with the woman he loves, Sonny begins hiding a secret that could eventually destroy the trust between them.

Sonny hides the truth from Dana

At first glance, Sonny and Dana appear to be enjoying a normal day together.

The couple head out for a romantic picnic and make plans to continue their date with a visit to a wine bar in Yabbie Creek. It is a welcome distraction for Sonny, who has been struggling to adapt to life following his injury.

However, the afternoon takes an unexpected turn when Sonny begins struggling physically.

Needing his crutch to steady himself, he admits he is exhausted and suggests cancelling the rest of their plans.

Dana is naturally disappointed but completely understanding.

Believing Sonny simply needs time to rest, she heads home unaware that he has already started making a very different plan.

With Dana safely at work preparing to meet Summer Bay's new doctor, Amelia Carlisle, Sonny secretly meets Beau.

One of the reasons Sonny and Dana's relationship has worked is because they have supported one another through difficult times.

That makes Sonny's decision to hide the truth all the more significant.
