Home and Away's Dana grows suspicious as Sonny hides dangerous secret

Dana begins to fear that Sonny is hiding something in upcoming Home and Away scenes as his increasingly erratic behaviour leaves her searching for answers. While Sonny insists his problems are nothing more than a money dispute with Remi, Dana has no idea that a far more dangerous situation is unfolding behind the scenes.

As Sonny struggles to deal with mounting pressure, Dana finds herself becoming caught up in a secret that could have devastating consequences.

Sonny's troubles begin after he desperately tries to borrow money from Eden. Hoping to keep the real reason private, he avoids explaining why he suddenly needs the cash so urgently.

His plan quickly falls apart when Remi overhears the conversation and confronts him. The exchange soon develops into a heated argument, leaving Dana shocked by the obvious tension between the two men.

Wanting to understand what has happened, Dana questions Sonny about the confrontation. Rather than revealing the truth, Sonny tells her he simply owes Remi a few hundred dollars and is trying to repay the debt.

Although his explanation appears straightforward, Dana senses there is more to the story. Sonny's nervous behaviour and reluctance to talk openly leave her unconvinced that she has been given the full picture.

Determined to help, Dana offers to lend Sonny the money herself. Believing she is helping resolve a disagreement between friends, she hopes the gesture will remove the pressure he has been under.

What Dana doesn't realise is that Sonny isn't trying to repay Remi at all. Instead, he is desperately searching for enough money to satisfy dangerous dealer Beau, who has already warned there will be consequences if the debt isn't cleared within 24 hours.

With Sonny continuing to hide the truth, Dana remains completely unaware of the danger surrounding him. Her offer comes from a place of kindness, but it could draw her even closer to a situation she doesn't yet understand.

As Sonny's lies continue to grow, keeping everyone in the dark is becoming increasingly difficult. Dana may believe she is solving one problem, but the reality is far more complicated than she could ever imagine.
