Home and Away Top 5 Biggest Stories for 21–25 September 2026

Five major storylines dominate Home and Away between 21 and 25 September 2026, with devastating medical news, difficult consequences and unexpected romantic progress all driving the week. Several characters are forced to accept realities they desperately hoped would turn out differently.

Eden’s family donor search collapses. Cash, Eden’s parents and Levi are all confirmed as unsuitable stem cell donors, while Abigail remains unable to be tested. Eden tries to remain brave but admits she had been desperately hoping Levi would come through as her big brother.

Zane learns how badly Heidi is still suffering. Restorative Justice sends paperwork detailing the profound brain injury his victim continues to live with. The documents are accompanied by a message making clear that her family will never forgive him, forcing Zane to confront consequences that prison could never erase.

David and Amelia take their romance to the next level. After David makes peace with Lacey, Amelia gives him her motel room address and he later arrives at her door. The pair spend the night together and continue moving forward despite the emotional complications surrounding his family.

Tane faces life without Archie nearby. Harper secures a rental half a day’s drive away and asks Tane to help with the move. He insists he does not blame Harper, but his anger towards Sonny remains intense because he links Beau’s presence to everything that forced Harper and Archie away.

Sonny begins rebuilding his life. Remi becomes his flatmate and continues encouraging him to face the community rather than hide. Sonny eventually helps Mackenzie during a difficult shift at Salt and receives an unexpected opportunity when she offers him a job.

There are emotional developments around those five stories too. Levi struggles under the expectation that he should somehow know how to save Eden, while Mackenzie quietly calls Jimmy after recognising that the Fowler family needs more support.

By Friday, Jimmy has arrived and the family carefully arranges for Eden to spend time with him. Cash is grateful for the reunion but privately admits how frightened he is, making clear that the absence of a donor is becoming increasingly difficult to carry.
