Home and Away spoilers 26–30 October 2026 as Eden fears for her future and Tane misses Archie

Eden is struggling with the thought that her illness could leave her family facing heartbreak, while Tane finds it increasingly difficult to leave Archie behind. Elsewhere, Justin’s secret is exposed, Dylan seeks a fresh start and Amelia’s relationship with David raises questions about her future.

Eden needs her family around her

Eden confesses to Cash that she feels Mackenzie now knows her siblings better than she does. She fears that if Richie breaks Abigail’s heart again, she might not be there to help pick up the pieces.

Cash feels overwhelmed and reaches out to Melanie, whom he met through an Aplastic Anaemia forum. He confides in her about supporting Eden, who overhears their conversation and is pleased he has someone to talk to.

Following Melanie’s advice, Cash encourages Mackenzie and Abigail to make Eden feel included. They apologise, and Mackenzie insists she could never replace her sister. The reconciliation offers Eden some much-needed reassurance.

Tane struggles with being apart from Archie

Although Tane remains on good terms with Harper, leaving Archie behind breaks his heart. Mali notices his mood and offers him a beer, but John makes matters worse by revealing that Archie is struggling and probably misses his dad. Mali reprimands John before suggesting a night out at the club at Reefton Lakes.

The following morning, Tane teases Mali about disappearing, discovering that he left with a woman. Mali later tells Lacey that he considers it a casual encounter with no strings attached.

Dylan and Lacey face complicated feelings

Sonny celebrates six weeks in a job after testifying against Beau in court, although he remains guilty about driving Tane away from his son. His younger brother Dylan then arrives, having quit his job in Western Australia. Dylan wants Sonny to lie to their parents, but Remi challenges Sonny over the double standard, given his secrets about Dana, his spinal injury and steroid addiction.

Dylan admits he is tired of being the golden child and wants the gap year he missed. Sonny agrees to help him explore life and gives him keys so he can stay.

Dylan soon attracts Lacey, but she panics when they nearly kiss. She tells Jo and Amelia she has not felt this way in a long time. Memories of her late boyfriend Theo leave her crying. Jo questions whether she is ready to date, while Amelia encourages her to try. Sonny warns Dylan that Lacey blames herself for Theo’s death, but Lacey later reassures Dylan and asks him on a date.

Justin and Amelia face difficult choices

Justin hopes Richie will find paid work and move out before David discovers he is living with Justin and Leah. Richie instead applies for John’s volunteer Bronze Medallion Course, initially abandoning his interview when David appears. Alf explains that John needs volunteers, David refuses to dictate Richie’s future and John later offers him a place.

David discovers Richie living with Justin and Leah when Richie answers the door. Justin explains Leah’s decision to help, and David accepts the explanation despite being hurt. Lacey is shocked, and Amelia later challenges Justin and Leah for keeping the arrangement secret.

Meanwhile, Levi’s severe post-surgery pain makes him snap at Amelia over her questions about work. He apologises and estimates he will return in six weeks, later showing Mackenzie improved hand mobility. Amelia admits her locum feels different because of David. Jo worries about their future, especially after Amelia stays overnight with David. Photos of his ex-wife remind Amelia of his past, and David apologises to Jo for not giving her warning.
