Home and Away spoilers 2–6 November 2026 as Eden faces medical crisis and Cash falls apart

Eden's fight for survival takes another worrying turn in next week's Home and Away, with Cash pushed to breaking point as doctors struggle to control the complications caused by her treatment.

Elsewhere, Lacey's attempt to find happiness with Dylan doesn't go as planned, Tane struggles with being separated from Archie, and Richie's efforts to build a future in Summer Bay begin to pay off.

Eden's health takes a frightening turn

Eden receives another blood transfusion, with Cash trying to keep their spirits up by discussing places they could visit for future anniversaries. The couple are determined to look ahead, even as her illness continues to dominate their lives.

Abigail and Remi visit Eden at home, while Cash makes dinner using a recipe from Melanie, a woman he has been speaking to through an online support group. Cash is keen for Eden to meet Melanie, believing her experience of living with the same disease could help them both.

However, Eden suddenly becomes unwell. After resting, she emerges shivering and struggles to pour herself a glass of water, dropping the glass as her condition deteriorates.

Cash carries Eden into hospital, where Doctor Pope is called to assess her. Blood tests reveal that she has suffered a serious reaction to her transfusion, leaving doctors with fewer treatment options.

Doctor Pope suggests chelation therapy, although the treatment carries additional risks. Eden initially refuses to make a decision until Cash returns, unaware that her husband is struggling to cope.

Cash discovers devastating news

Cash leaves the hospital overwhelmed by what is happening to Eden. Desperate for advice, he returns home and attempts to contact Melanie, hoping she might understand the latest complications.

Instead, he discovers a memorial notice revealing that Melanie has died. Already terrified of losing Eden, Cash begins drinking and questions whether his wife has any chance of recovery.

Remi visits and tries to persuade him to return to hospital, but Cash becomes angry and orders him to leave. Eventually, Cash contacts Gary and admits that he needs help.

Gary arrives and refuses to let Cash hide from the situation. He reminds him that if Eden's condition continues to deteriorate, he will regret not spending that time with her.

Meanwhile, Eden is increasingly distressed by Cash's absence. Believing her husband is avoiding her because he is frightened, she attempts to discharge herself so she can return home to him.

Cash finally arrives with Gary and promises that he will not leave her again. Eden admits she fears she has little time left, prompting Cash to ask what she wants to do with the rest of her life.

Remi is left hurt when Gary questions his involvement, suggesting that he is not family and should keep his distance.

Lacey and Dylan's date ends badly

Lacey decides to take another step towards moving on from Theo by going on a date with Dylan. Jo remains concerned that her sister is not emotionally ready, while Amelia believes Lacey should be encouraged to try.

The evening begins well at Salt, with Dylan impressed by Lacey and the conversation flowing easily. However, Lacey drinks too much wine and becomes increasingly flirtatious, leaving Dylan uncomfortable.

Sonny and Jo have been keeping an eye on their siblings and eventually intervene, offering to take Lacey home. She later becomes sick, while Jo argues that the evening proves her concerns were justified.

Despite the awkward experience, Dylan tells Sonny that he genuinely likes Lacey and wants to take things slowly. David is also pleased that Lacey has made an effort to start dating again, although she spends the following morning recovering from a hangover.

Richie makes progress with his training

Richie continues searching for paid employment while preparing for his Bronze Medallion assessments. Abigail tries to help by approaching Mali and Tane about possible work, but neither can offer him a position.

Mali is also conscious of how employing Richie might look to Lacey. Abigail is disappointed but reassures Richie that Summer Bay is a supportive community and another opportunity could come along.

John proves a demanding instructor, questioning Richie's confidence and putting the candidates through a challenging fitness assessment.

Richie impresses when he stops to help another participant who has fallen, rather than concentrating on finishing ahead of everyone else. John later confirms that Richie has passed the physical assessment, although the theory test still lies ahead.

Richie also surprises John by completing all his online modules in one night. However, Eden's deteriorating condition leaves Abigail struggling, and Richie puts his own achievements aside to comfort her.

Tane struggles with being away from Archie

Tane receives an upsetting call from Harper revealing that Archie has fallen from a swing at daycare and been taken to hospital.

Although Tane understands why Dana was contacted before him, the news reinforces how difficult it is to live several hours away from his son.

Alf attempts to reassure him by discussing his own experiences of living apart from Martha, but Tane loses his temper and snaps at him.

Mali later reminds Tane that living some distance away does not prevent him from being a good father. Tane apologises to Alf and also finds time to check on Cash, although his attempt to help is met with anger.

Justin and David finally make peace

Justin continues feeling guilty about Richie staying with him and Leah, knowing the arrangement has created problems with David.

When David discovers that Amelia told Justin and Leah to give him space, he confronts her about interfering in his friendship. Amelia apologises, and the couple agree to trust each other when dealing with difficult situations.

Leah encourages Justin to visit David with beers, and the two men finally put their disagreement behind them. They enjoy watching football together and agree to make it a regular arrangement.

However, Amelia has another concern. Levi will soon return to his position in the emergency department, meaning she may need to find another placement away from Summer Bay.

David hopes they can deal with the situation when it arises, although their relationship could face another challenge.
