Home and Away spoilers 12 to 16 October 2026 bring major turning points

Summer Bay reaches several turning points as characters are forced to stop avoiding difficult situations and decide what comes next. Eden and Cash confront their different ways of coping, Richie commits to a future with Abigail and Marilyn has to accept that Zane's story has taken another painful turn.

Eden's attempt to return to normal life ends with her becoming exhausted during an outing with Cash. Cash later joins an aplastic anaemia support forum and finds a story that gives him hope, but Eden reacts badly when she discovers he has been researching her condition behind her back. They eventually acknowledge that they simply cope differently.

Remi reaches his own turning point after Justin suggests he has been focusing on Sonny because he feels powerless over Eden. Sonny then becomes the person offering support and finally persuades Remi to open up.

Abigail admits she still wants Richie, and the pair agree to try again despite Lacey's fierce disapproval. Abigail almost walks away when the hostility becomes overwhelming, but Richie tells her he loves her and she decides to give their relationship a chance.

Richie's decision to remain in Summer Bay forces David to change how he deals with him. David arranges a meeting, lays down boundaries and later encourages Lacey to move forward, while Leah subsequently offers Richie somewhere to live at her and Justin's home.

Zane also reaches a decisive moment when he tells Marilyn to stop campaigning for him and admits he does not know who he is outside prison. Marilyn later learns he has received eight months for breaching parole and 17 months for assaulting a police officer, as well as having to serve the rest of his original sentence. Alf encourages her not to let the outcome destroy her belief in helping people.

Levi reveals that applying to become a donor for Eden meant missing the optimal time for hand surgery.

He still hopes to return to the emergency department, but Amelia admits that she wants to keep his temporary position and confirms her relationship with David is behind her desire to remain in the Bay.

Levi and Mackenzie have also decided not to try IVF again. Mackenzie later tells Tane, while challenging him to stop avoiding Sonny, eventually prompting a small step forward between the two men.

Justin and Leah begin by returning from their romantic getaway and trying to extend their private bubble. Leah's decision to invite Richie into their home soon ensures life becomes considerably less peaceful.
