Home and Away fans think Richie could be Eden’s donor
Home and Away fans think Richie could become Eden’s stem-cell donor as he returns for Abigail, but the theory has not been confirmed.
Home and Away viewers have suggested Richie could become Eden’s stem-cell donor as he prepares to return to Summer Bay.
Coming up in the UK episodes, he hopes to reunite with Abigail while her family continues searching for someone who could help her sister.
One viewer predicted, “He will be a match donor for Eden”, while another wrote, “He’s a match for Eden”. That remains a fan theory, with no confirmation that Richie undergoes testing or becomes Eden’s donor.

Eden has been diagnosed with aplastic anaemia, a condition in which the bone marrow does not produce enough blood cells.
The search has brought repeated disappointment, with Levi, Cash and her parents ruled out as matches and Abigail unable to donate.

Abigail is finding the uncertainty increasingly difficult when she encounters Richie in upcoming scenes. She opens up about what her family is going through, giving him an opportunity to listen and offer support.
Richie explains that he has moved on from policing and is now working in retail. He still has feelings for Abigail and hopes she will consider giving their relationship another chance.

If viewers’ predictions prove correct, his comeback could become significant for both sisters. For Abigail, that would carry particular emotional weight after struggling with being unable to donate herself.
Meanwhile, Eden needs Cash to talk about what could happen if a donor is not found.
She wants them to face that difficult conversation together, while he struggles to contemplate a future without her.
Home and Away is available to stream on 5 in the UK, with new episodes released on weekdays. This article follows UK pace and includes upcoming UK spoilers for 5–9 October 2026.
